ACTIVITIES/INFORMATION (SCHOOL RELATED)

Anyone who is planning on attending the Children of Willesden Lane play on Thursday, Jan. 25, should go by the library to pick up a permission slip.  You will need to turn it in before you board the bus on Thursday morning.

Ms. Robasky needs several students to help in the ceramics classroom on Friday, January 26 from 12 noon-2 p.m.  This event will earn students a service to school point.  For more information see Ms. Robasky or stop by the Career Center.

Jessica Wade State Farm has an opening for a paid office intern.  Applications are available in the Career Center.

Winterball tickets will be sold during both lunches.  Winterball pictures will be done from 5-7:30pm and 9-11pm.

Attention all Spring Sport Athlete’s:  FamilyID will open Jan. 22 to begin signing up for your Spring Sport.  Please register as soon as possible so we can insure your physical is current.  First day of practice will be Monday, Feb. 26.

January 19 is the last day to pre-order yearbooks and last day for Senior ads.  After January, if you want a book, you will have to put your name on a wait list.  If you are unsure if you have purchased a Yearbook there is a list outside the Activities window.

Monarchs, would you like to make a new international friend from our sister city of Wako, Japan?  The Longview Sister City Commission, in partnership with the Longview School District, is looking for ten families to host a student from March 16-30, 2018.  We are in need of homes for six males and four females.  Please see Mr. Ruhter in Room B8 for an application and if you have further questions.  Applications are due by Friday, January 19.
