ACTIVITIES/INFORMATION (SCHOOL RELATED)

Book Review meetings NEXT Thursday, May 16th, in the library.  Bring your lunch and come talk books.

Attention all Fall athletes:  FamilyID will open Wednesday, May 8th for Spring/Summer Football and Cheer.  All other Fall sports will open on June 1st.

This is your chance to check it out, the Longview Winterguard, and learn to spin a flag.  Come to the Mark Morris track Monday (today) at 5pm.  No experience is needed, we will tach you what you need to know.  Everyone is welcome to give it a try with no commitment.  Practice will be Mondays from 5pm to 6:30pm.  We hope you will join us.

Cheerleaders- There will be a mandatory parent meeting Wednesday, May 8th at 6:00 p.m. in the LGIC room.  Discussion will be based around tryout information, important dates, costs and expectations.  Clinics will be the week of May 13-17th with tryouts being May 18th.

On May 17th there will be a Latinx Baile (Hispanic themed dance) and is open to all students.  Tickets will go on sale Monday, May 13th, during lunches.  During this week we will be having mini dance lessons for those who want to learn the basics of Latin dance.  Dance passes for the Latinx Baile will be available starting today at lunch, and are due back to Mrs. Bennett Friday, May 10th.

Any students interested in turning out for cheerleading during the 2019-2020 school year will need to attend a mandatory meeting on Wednesday, May 8th at 6:00 in the LGIC.

If you are a Mark Morris student and play bass, either electric or upright string bass, please see Mr. Buhl immediately in regards to an opportunity for next school year.

Running Start registration for Fall quarter will be Thursday, May 9th in the LGIC from 8:00-2:00.  Please bring your completed EVF form with your selected classes.  Both Mark Morris and LCC counselors will be available.

All Juniors and Seniors must have their fines/fees paid prior to purchasing tickets for Prom.
