ACTIVITIES/INFORMATION (SCHOOL RELATED)

Tonight is the night!!!  Head on down to Hearth Coffee from 6-8 p.m. and listen to the After Hours Vocal Jazz Ensemble sing some of your favorite and timeless jazz standards with the pro rhythm section on piano, drums, and bass.  Event is FREE and open to the public!  Bring your friends.

Come stretch your artistic skills with Bob Ross in Ms. Pointer’s room; Wednesday, May 15 from 5-6:30 p.m.  It is only $5 per person and you will be able to take home your creation on canvas.  Sign up at the activities’ window before the end of the day on Tuesday, May 14.  Snacks and beverages will also be available.  It’s a high school paint and sip.

Are you a secret artist and have yet to display your work?  We have an opportunity for you.  Enter your pieces into our Arts week competition by dropping off your work in Room B8 by Thursday, May 16.

For our upcoming Athletics Week celebration the leadership class is looking to collect photos of your involvement in sports.  Forms will be sent out to both teachers and students via email to be able to submit any team pictures that you would like to submit.  Teachers we are looking for photos from your high school experience.

Last grade check is Wednesday, May 15th for Spring Athletes.

Mainstage Theatre presents Shakespeare’s As You Like It.  There is an afternoon performance on May 18th at 2 p.m.  Tickets are $5 and are available at the door.

Book Review meetings Thursday, May 16th, in the library.  Bring your lunch and come talk books.

Attention all Fall athletes:  FamilyID is now open for Spring/Summer Football and Cheer.  All other Fall sports will open on June 1st.

On May 17th there will be a Latinx Baile (Hispanic themed dance) and is open to all students.  Tickets will go on sale Monday, May 13th, during lunches.  During this week we will be having mini dance lessons for those who want to learn the basics of Latin dance.

If you are a Mark Morris student and play bass, either electric or upright string bass, please see Mr. Buhl immediately in regards to an opportunity for next school year.

All Juniors and Seniors must have their fines/fees paid prior to purchasing tickets for Prom.

Put together toothbrush kits for Kindergarteners before or after school or during 1st lunch.  See Mrs. Faul in AA5 with questions or to set up a time.
