Wrestlers- there will be a meeting during both lunches on Monday, Oct. 7, in the library for those interested in turning out for Wrestling this winter.
GSA meets today after school in the Piano Lab. Bring a friend. Everyone is welcome, including LGBTQ allies.
Homecoming dance passes are available at the Activities window and are due back to Ms. Bennett by Friday, Oct. 11.
Looking for service to school points? We are needing (2) chain crew people to help with the JV Home Football games. Please see Ms. Nixon if you are interested in helping Mrs. Haulk.
Angel Closet Dress Giveaway provides formal dresses and accessories to high school girls in Longview, Kelso and surrounding communities for winter ball and prom, at no cost. All high school girls are welcome. Limit 1 dress per girl, per dance. Please bring school ID. For dates please pick up a card in the Guidance Office.

The PSAT will be at MMHS on Wednesday, October 16th.
Sign up at the Activities window by Friday, October. 4th. The cost is $17. Space is limited. This test is designed for juniors to prepare for the SAT. Other class levels are welcome to take the test bus is recommended for junior students.
Students should take it for the following reasons:
It is great practice for the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT), which is required for entrance to 4 year universities in the State of Washington and throughout the country.
National Merit Scholarships are awarded based on your performance of this test taken your junior year.

15th Avenue Safeway needs volunteers to help with their Holiday Food Drive. Students are needed to hand out cookies from 3:00-6:00 p.m. on weekdays and 12 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on weekends. If you are unable to work the whole shift, you can sign up for part of it.
Northlake Elementary School needs volunteers to help in classrooms and to provide childcare during PTO meetings. These can be used as service to school points or community service hours. Sign up in the Career Center.
The Washington State Parks Commission is looking for volunteers to help prepare the Mt. St. Helens’ Visitor Center for next year’s 40th Anniversary of the eruption of Mt. St. Helens. Sign up in the Career Center.
Cascade and Mt Solo Middle Schools need volunteers to help with volleyball and football games. Sign up in the Career Center.
